The Cathedral Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and sings at the 11am Sunday Mass, three times a month on average, as well as at principal Feast Days. The choir sings a varied repertoire, from polyphony to more contemporary.
The Cathedral Vocal Ensemble (6 voices) sings on average one 11 am Mass each month and celebrate a Choral Mass in the evening once a month; members are professional singers. The repertoire largely comprises plainsong and Renaissance polyphony.
Choral Memorial Mass for All Souls Day
Monday 2 November at 7 pm. With the Cathedral Vocal Ensemble and soprano Morag Aitchison, organist Michael Stoddart and directed by Nicholas Forbes singing Duruflé’s Requiem.
